The Unconventional Wedding Festival, taking place on 11th-12th May at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire, offers couples the latest ideas for making their day unique

For couples who want a wedding inspiration event with a difference, The Unconventional Wedding Festival is the place to be. Happening at Stanford Hall, a stunning Grade 1-listed William & Mary House in Leicestershire on Saturday 11th-Sunday 12th May, it brings together a whole host of contemporary, creative and unusual wedding and party design ideas.

This is a fair with a difference, aiming to not only inspire and connect you with specialist suppliers who can turn your dream wedding into reality, but bring a festival flavour into a fabulous historic parkland setting to make the event a lot of fun to attend.

Themed Zones are styled to create the feeling of walking into a real wedding, and you’ll find something to suit every taste. From Sci-Fi to Vintage, Urban to Fairytale, each of the themed Zones brings together a range of suppliers to match the ‘mood board, giving you all you need to create a bespoke design for your day. In the mix you will find everything from venues and marquee providers to bridal fashion, accessories, and everything in-between. There’s also great entertainment to check out, from birds of prey and a shisha lounge to circus performers.

There’s a lot to inspire your wedding flavours, with specialist food and drink vendors across the site. They will be showcasing their wedding ideas and also offering you the chance to try and buy delicious party food and drink. Consultation areas on site give you the opportunity to sit down with suppliers you are interested in hiring.

A Pop Up Spa is the place to find quirky pre-wedding party ideas and meet suppliers offering wedding preparation and on-the-day health and beauty services. And you can also indulge in a spot of pampering. There’s even a pop up hotel, showcasing the variety of temporary accommodation options available to couples looking to extend their wedding festivities.

If you want to make the day extra special, upgrade to the VIP experience. This includes VIP parking, fast-track entry, exclusive access to the VIP Zone where you can kick back in comfort and enjoy a glass of bubbly, lunch vouchers letting you choose what you want to eat from vendors across the site, plus a luxury goody bag. The Festival organisers are also offering special experiences, including a tour of Stanford Hall and a Prosecco afternoon tea. These can be pre-arranged when you buy your tickets.
