Yanina – sculptural elegance
Yanina (also pictured top) has classic Aire Barcelona lines, with slimline cut and soft train. The standout detail is the one-shoulder cut with sculptural ruffle detail. It’s a super-elegant choice for day-to-evening weddings and its simplicity lets you accessorise with bold jewellery and bridal heels.
While Yanina is thoroughly modern, it can be transformed into something fairytale with the addition of the floor length cape-come-train. This is a delightful way to up the glamour for the ceremony or ensure a grand entrance at the wedding feast.
Yael – glamour two ways
Yael is a gown that lets brides go full fairytale. The fitted lace bodice with flattering wide straps has a contemporary form-fitting look, but the skirt is a delightfully decadent. Like all Aire gowns, it’s lightweight rather than cumbersome, ensuring you wear the dress and not the other way around.
Remove the frothy overskirt and Yael instantly transforms into a sophisticated after-party gown. Made of wonderful lace, it has a basque-style bodice to flatter and nip in the waist.
Yerica – Hollywood cut
Yerica is a standout design from the new collection – channeling 1930s Hollywood glamour and designed to be worn in two ways. Shown above, it’s a chic long-sleeve ensemble providing coverage for shoulders and arms, while still revealing the form of the gown below.
Remove the gauzy overtop and Yerica is transformed into a halterneck evening gown, complete with plunge back and oversized bow. It’s gloriously simple, relying on exceptional fabrics and cut to make an impact. This is a gown that would work equally well for ballroom or beach wedding.
Yabel – Luscious lace
Yabel incorporates that most traditional of bridal fabrics – lace – but there’s nothing trad about this two-piece. The cropped bodice with scalloped hem and neckline provides coverage of arms and shoulders and is super flattering. Shown above, it’s worn with a split front lace skirt to create a fluid and comfortable wedding-day ensemble.
Yabel can also be worn with the fairytale overskirt that is part of Aire Atelier’s spring collection. This transforms the look but keeps things contemporary. We love this combination as the structure of the long-sleeved cropped top balances beautifully with the wide skirt.
Yamal – fine lines
Yamal is the ultimate in pared-back bridal style, with its slinky bodice and soft mermaid skirt. The wide shoulder straps and straight neckline give it a sporty vibe – great for flattering toned shoulders and arms. A transparent cover-up, provided by this soft cape-come-train, softens the sculptural look and provides extra coverage for ceremony or after-dark chill.
