Lavender Green offers a fabulous floral space for wedding parties

Lavender Green Flowers’ London store on Fulham Road is the perfect place for a pre-wedding get together or romantic post-wedding dinner

Lavender Green Flowers has launched ‘Final Countdown’ parties at its Chelsea studio, an opportunity for couples and their guests to celebrate before or after their wedding day in a fabulous flower-filled setting.

Lavender Green, which has built a stellar reputation for designing flowers for weddings and events is a family-run concern that supplies the floral arrangements for many leading wedding venues, including Kensington Palace, The Berkeley and The Langham.

While its main base is Windsor, its London store is a fabulous oasis on Fulham Road in the heart of the bridal quarter, always packed with lush flowers and greenery. It is also beautifully designed, so versatile enough for dinners, drinks parties or other special events.

The idea behind ‘Final Countdown’ is that couples can take over the space, either before or after the big day. Final Countdown showcases will be tailor made for each party, and can be used to mark the beginning of a celebration, or to relive the day with an after-party event.

The team at Lavender Green say the space can be a great place to bring the wedding elements together and perhaps host a drinks party, a food tasting or a first-dance class. The studio can host up to 40 for drinks, or ten for a sit-down early-evening dinner. We think it would also be a wonderfully romantic spot for a first-wedding anniversary dinner or, come to that, for a pre-wedding meet for the bride and her attendants – especially as Chelsea and Kensington’s nightlife is on your doorstep.
