As celebrations for the Queen’s 90th birthday continue, we thought a tea party seemed the perfect way to mark the occasion in style and provide wedding inspiration. This pretty shoot was created by Alegrar Events as homage to the great British teatime ritual and includes elegant French flavours and timeless vintage details

Wedding planner Alegrar Events created this themed shoot to provide bridal inspiration around the theme of afternoon tea, using vintage English china from Mrs Jones China Hire and adding some romantic French details, such as delicate floral tiered cake and delectable macaroons and cupcakes from The Little Cake Garden.
The setting – No. 4 Hamilton Place in Mayfair – is a fine London townhouse overlooking Hyde Park, so the perfect place to celebrate a wedding or other special event. The table was set in a grand reception room featuring ornate ceiling and fireplace and fine views over London.
Alegrar Events’ Cynthia Adipue chose a simple jacquard sleeveless wedding gown from Bonita, with blush pink bridesmaid gowns. The elegant hair decorations are by Victoria Millesime. The vintage feel tablesetting is enhanced by the luxe charger plates from HollAEvents, with place settings by Oh Wonder Calligraphy.
