Once home of the Duke of Wellington, it has been headquarters of the Royal Aeronautical Society since 1939 and is packed with reminders of the history of aviation and its pioneers. Larger still is the ground-floor Bill Boeing Room, a contemporary blank-canvas space that can hold up to 250 people for a ceremony and is also perfect for dinner and dancing.
