The iconic Australian brand is celebrating its 15th birthday with a new collection of effortless gowns. Here are five of our favourite picks
Grace Loves Lace is known for its laidback aesthetic, with glamorous and flattering gowns designed for modern brides. Founded back in 2010 just south of Australia’s Gold Coast – where gowns are still designed and produced today – it quickly attracted a global fan base by tuning into the trend for brides to do different. Gowns were ready to wear, easy to pack and perfect for a destination or short-notice celebration.
These days gowns are shipped around the world, and with stores in global hubs – including London – where you can try before you buy. Grace Loves Lace has added custom size and made to order to its repertoire, but the founding idea of gowns ready to go, and to steal the show, is still inherent in each new collection.
And its Golden Girl collection, marking its 15th anniversary, is true to that tradition. With nine dresses and ten different accessories that can be mixed and matched, it’s a great choice for brides who want to style things their way. Here are some of our favourite looks from the new collection.
Brunella – boho charm
This boho-with-a-twist gown is a Grace Loves Lace classic. Made of ivory Chantilly lace with a scalloped edging neckline and hem, it has a clever angled bodice to define the waist and a floaty A-line skirt. There’s a lovely petal and diamante trim.
There’s an on-trend neck piece and floaty half sleeves (both detachable) and a train. While it feels light and comfortable to wear, like all Grace Loves Lace gowns, there’s clever internal boning to allow easy movement but still provide support.
Cartier – sassy twist
This shimmering figure hugger transforms from a full-length strapless column gown to an asymmetric midi (as shown) or you can convert it into a mini dress. Cartier is in double-layer lace, with a subtle georgette lining, and features lovely beading and floral motifs.

Como – flower show
Como is a romantic wedding gown in pale ivory with lavish floral lace. The flattering plunge bodice and removable bootlace straps are paired to a frothy A-line skirt and there are elbow-length gloves to balance the silhouette.
With its long train, it’s a scene stealer – especially paired to the Roma neck scarf, as shown. Or try it with Grace Loves Lace’s semi-sheer Whisper cape.
Pip – easy glamour
Breaking with lace, Pip is an elegant Mikado satin number in ivory. Strapless, and with a super-flattering draped bodice, it has a split-front A-line skirt with pockets. Clever internal boning and a waist stay ensure a streamlined silhouette and it has lovely covered buttons at the back, as well as a satin train.

Selene – sunshine choice
In luxurious medium-weight satin, Selene is a great choice for destination or high-summer brides. Cowl draping at the neckline and removable thin straps are combined with asymmetric pleating at the hip to create a sleek and flattering profile.
The dress features a front split for ease of movement and with covered back buttons and a floaty integral train. It’s a super-cool option alone, or you can pair it with the gorgeous Chantilly lace bodysuit for a bit more coverage during the service.
