How appropriate then that the label’s new showroom should be set in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. Located on Duchy of Cornwall land and surrounded by rolling meadows, it’s a picture-perfect setting for choosing a wedding gown and accessories.

For Sarah Barrett, this has been a labour of love. There has long been a manufacturing studio on the site and over the years brides have visited for a custom-made or bespoke wedding dress. But now the entire collection of Lyn Ashworth gowns from the current Daydreamer collection and forthcoming Pure Love collection will be housed in one perfectly designed space. You can also find timeless pieces from the archive – a wonderful opportunity to browse classics from Sarah Barrett’s past collections for Lyn Ashworth.

Every piece from the Lyn Ashworth wedding gown collections is designed and made here, giving scope to get a truly bespoke or custom look to match your style and celebration. Shopping at Lyn Ashworth

Visits are by appointment, and the team will be happy to advise you if you want to make an outing of it and stay over at one of the choice hotels and inns in this pretty quarter of the Midlands. While it feels like the perfect rural idyll, the showroom is easy to get to by road, with railway stations (including Burton-upon-Trent and Derby) close by. For international brides, the closest airports are East Midlands (approximately 40 minutes) and Birmingham International (around 50 minutes).
