Andrea Hawkes' 2017 collection builds on the label's philosophy of providing elegant wedding pieces with a distinctly modern aesthetic

Andrea Hawkes is a bridal label with a distinctively modern style built on clean lines, impeccable tailoring and pared-back elegance. It’s a very London look, offering both chic house collections and the option of bespoke designs

Andrea Hawkes  is definitely a new London name to watch. The bridal label was established in 2013, but it has already carved a reputation for its tailored and thoroughly modern approach to bridalwear design. This is also a bridal label that is designed and made in the heart of the capital.

Collection gowns such as Auden, above, offer clean lines. The cut is impeccable and fabrics and details are luxurious – designed to be both timeless and comfortable to wear

The wedding gowns themselves are elegantly simple. The success of the Andrea Hawkes look is down to impeccable cut and attention to detail on buttons and trims. You will also find exceptional materials – Italian silks and French laces among them – to ensure a luxury handle with fabulous drape and comfort. This is a versatile approach to bridal dressing; you will find supremely body-flattering shapes within the main collection suitable for everything from a chic city wedding to a grand-scale affair.

Alongside its main and capsule collections, Andrea Hawkes has introduced 15 new looks for 2017. Made of natural silks, these are inspired by some recent bespoke commissions and include fabulous French laces with pattern rather than conventional floral designs – adding an edgy element to this timeless component of the wedding gown.

The 2017 Andrea Hawkes collection introduces new looks to the mix, with additional glamorous fabrics and styles to choose from

The focus at Andrea Hawkes’ boutique remains one-to-one service. This means you have the flexibility to choose from pieces in the main collections – ranging from short gowns and separates to glamorous textured sheath dresses – or have one of these gowns adapted and made to measure.

A third option – definitely one to consider if you are looking for impeccable cut and fabrics and want a truly one-off gown designed to perfectly match your taste and your celebration – is to commission a bespoke wedding dress and have this designed and made in London using traditional couture processes.
