London Bridal Week is set to be the new destination for bridal when it opens its doors on 25 March, bringing together the world’s bridal designers and buyers to showcase the hottest trends in wedding fashion
London Bridal Week is coming to town, a brand new ‘super show’ to bring together the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and buyers under one roof. This is the place where the latest trends are spotted for 2019 and beyond.
This new one-stop destination is hosted at ExCel in East London between 25-27 March, and is a fusion of major trade show, fashion events and education seminars. It incorporates the luxury buying event White Gallery London, previously held in Battersea, and will take over 10,000 square metres of spaces, making it the largest bridal trade show London has ever seen. It’s also timed to be the first major bridal event of the international calendar, taking place ahead of New York and Barcelona showcases.
Understandably, there’s a buzz about such a major new destination bridal event taking place in London – and the timing, in a year of not one but two royal weddings, couldn’t be better. For brides to be, this is not a show to visit (trade only, unfortunately), but it is set to make London even more of a magnet for great international designers, as well as providing a superb showcase for the best of established and emerging UK talent. The trends that are spotted on the runway for the first time here will influence what brides wear down the aisle for seasons to come.
London is already an international fashion capital, and with a global reputation for the flair and expertise of its designers, so London Bridal Week makes perfect sense and is sure to draw in the crowds. We’re eagerly anticipating the runway shows at White Gallery, the opportunity to meet so many great designers, retailers and specialists under one roof and the chance to listen to expert commentary via the seminar programme that runs throughout the event.
We’ll be reporting on all the news from London Bridal Week, including showcasing the most exciting new gowns from new talents and iconic bridal names. So watch this space!
