Perfect wedding inspiration for anyone planning a celebration in the seasons to come, this shoot conjures up an elegant garden setting for a sophisticated party in the heart of Kensington. The shoot was designed and styled by The New Wonderful and by florist Miriam Faith.
Using strong circular motifs – symbolic of the wedding ring itself – the flowers designed by Miriam Faith use the soft colour palette of lilac, cream and mint green. This sophisticated take on traditional spring and early summer colours has a richness and depth, especially in combination with hints of gold used in elements ranging from flower vessels to tablesettings.
The colours and circular motif were included in stationery designed by Pale Press London, and in other key elements of the design such as the gorgeous cake table created by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium. We love the combination of traditional tiered cake and bite-sized sweetmeats to tempt guests, while the colour-themed and flower-decorated cocktails not only look and taste inviting but are also a key trend for weddings in 2019.
The bride’s beautiful lace gown combines traditional and contemporary elements. Designed by Zuhair Murad and stocked exclusively in the UK at The Wedding Club’s Knightsbridge and Birmingham stores, it has a form-fitting cut with flowing overskirt – perfect for the bride who wants to move effortlessly from daytime ceremony to evening party.
