The Wedding Gallery has announced a host of star-studded names as brand partners ahead of its official launch this October
The Wedding Gallery has announced a line-up of exciting brand partners ahead of its official launch this October. With capacity now at 95 per cent, the Marylebone bridal destination store promises one-stop shopping for everything from gown to venue to flowers in the heart of London.
Created by Hammer Holdings and using the impressive two-storey basement space under One Marylebone, The Wedding Gallery will be a 20,000 sq ft area offering seven-day opening and over 200 brands. Retail design is by Christian Lahoude, a New York studio that has worked on projects for – among others – Tiffany & Co and Jimmy Choo.
While the space will be luxurious, it’s the brands that will tempt in brides and grooms, and there’s no doubt this is going to be a store that attracts both UK and overseas couples in search of the latest and greatest in planning and styling ideas.
Bridal designers of distinction
Bridal designers inhabiting the ground floor space will include stellar names such as Sassi Holford, Elie Saab, Amanda Wakeley, Temperley London and Hermione de Paula. You will also find the exquisite embroidered collections of Needle & Thread, hot Melbourne name J’Aton and legendary couture designer Oscar de la Renta.
Alongside the bridal and bridesmaid gowns, you will find shoes by leading lights such as Emmy London, Sophia Webster and Charlotte Olympia, and lingerie/loungewear by Olivia von Halle and La Perla.
Grooms won’t be forgotten, with both bespoke and RTW tailoring from names such as Gieves & Hawkes, Turnbull & Asser, Caseley-Hayford and Thom Sweeney. George Cleverley has been confirmed as men’s footwear partner.
Impeccable jewels for finishing off the wedding-day ensemble will be on offer from London names such as Annoushka, Shaun Leane and Kiki McDonough.
World-class venues and planners under one roof
The Wedding Gallery will showcase a host of world-class venues in its purpose-built library space. These include landmarks such as Banqueting House, The Savoy, The Wallace Collection, Botleys Mansion and Notley Abbey. This means that couples starting their hunt for the right space for their party can compare venues and narrow down their search.
Of course, this will make the library space a great meeting point for couples and their wedding planners. Wedding/event organisers who will be on hand to steer couples through the planning process include By Bruce Russell, Quintessentially, Cranberry Blue and Lillingston.
Alongside the wedding planners, you’ll find a whole host of niche and specialist suppliers, from wedding filmmakers and photographers to florists, entertainment suppliers, cakemakers and stationers.
Dream escape planning
No wedding is complete without a honeymoon, and a host of leading luxury travel names will be available for consultations at The Wedding Gallery. These include Belmond, Hayes & Jarvis and Audley Travel.
