The new collection from Rosa Clará Couture delivers style and timeless elegance – and with clever twists that every bride will love

The new Rosa Clará Couture collection has, as you’d expect, exceptional tailoring and lavish fabrics, but there are pleasing twists that mean brides can individualise their wedding-day style, also shifting gear with one gown to take them from wedding to after party. Here are some of our favourites from the new wedding dress collection.
Raisa – tailored to flatter
This sleek and modern slimline gown with train relies on exceptional cut and fabric and shows how a simple line and unadorned fabric can still have the wow factor. Constructed from crepe, the gown has a tailored bodice with super flattering square neckline, while the slimline and fluid crepe skirt has a removable mikado lira overskirt to add glamour down the aisle.

Raisa has a low back and there are alternative ways of wearing it – including a lovely train from the shoulders if brides want to cover up during the ceremony. Everyone loves a fairytale gown, but Roble is a cleverly designed twist on the classic. It’s actually a two-piece, featuring a tailored bodice with glittering chain detailing at the neckline, plus floral straps that can be worn on or off the shoulder. The bodice has a corset style back, with lacing for a perfect fit. Paired here to the tulle fairytale skirt, it’s a knockout number for the celebration.
Since it’s a two-piece, Roble is also incredibly versatlie. Paired to a softly pleated crepe skirt with train, the wedding gown has an entirely different and sophisticated edge, making it a superb option for brides who want to switch gear for the less formal part of proceedings.
Ravel – classic couture style
Ravel has all the hallmarks that made Rosa Clará’s name – tailored in exquisite crepe and with fine fabrics and detailing. The deep square neckline and flattering long sleeves put focus on neck and shoulders, while the soft bodice is defined by a deep chain-link style embellishment at the waist. This same detail is picked up on the cuffs of the sleeves. The cut is slimline and neat, skimming the body and with plenty of flow in the lightweight skirt with soft train.
Other hallmarks of a Rosa Clará classic include the elegant covered buttons at the back of the gown. There’s also a subtle reveal, with a soft open back and neat flower trim. Everything about this look oozes quiet luxury, making it a go-anywhere wedding gown that could grace a church, garden or hotel celebration.
Rayma – New Romantic revival
Now for something rather different – Rayma – a standout gown from the new collection. There’s clever Rosa Clará tailoring but it channels the 1980s New Romantic vibe that has been creeping into bridal collections recently. The longline strapless bodice has clever draping to accentuate curves. There’s a floral trim below the waist (flowers are definitely a feature of this new collection) and then a dramatic full skirt with sumptuous train.
This is gown with real red-carpet credentials and made of a luxurious twill to ensure it holds its shape. Our favourite addition is the clever capelet that can be worn over the shoulders, beautifully balancing the full skirt and showing off tanned and toned shoulders. It’s not a gown for bridal wallflowers, but there’s guaranteed scene stealing – a top choice for the bride who wants to make a memorable entrance.
Regina – cocktail chic and jewel details
One of the great strengths of Rosa Clará Couture is its ability to design gowns for every style of bride and celebration. Regina is a perfect example of this approach. It has the sophistication of a cocktail gown, with its pared back design elements, but also packs a punch thanks to lovely jewel details. It’s made of fine crepe and with a wide bateau neckline, neat bodice with waist detail and soft and floaty mermaid skirt.
Like many Rosa Clará gowns, you need to get up close to see what makes this truly special. The jewel detail used on the draped sleeves and waist continues to the back of the gown, with a lavish jewel lace trail and open back. Covered buttons continue down the gown – ensuring a wedding dress that shines from every angle.
Riana – going for gold
Riana is a good example of the versatility of this new collection from Rosa Clará Couture. Once again, this is made up of separates and that means flexibility in how you wear the look. The vital element is the lovely gold lace bodice, nipped in and tailored with lacing at the back. This can be worn with a variety of skirts – it’s shown here with a simple crepe mermaid skirt, but works equally well with a tulle or pleated skirt from the separates collection.
Thoughtful extras make Riana rather special. There’s a gorgeous gold-lace trimmed veil to wear with the ensemble and – if you’re looking for more coverage – a rather beautiful gold lace jacket that can be worn over the bodice. Rimar – slinky satin, Hollywood style
Our final pick, Rimar, offers a look that’s perfect for evening or destination weddings. Made of a luscious and iridescent crepe satin, it has a bateau neckline and short sleeves. Clever draping highlights the waist and there’s a form-fitting satin skirt that tapers down to a soft train. From the back, the gown is dramatic with tailored cut, very low v-back and satin covered buttons.
There’s minimal detailing on this gown, which keeps the look modern – but with that slinky fabric and draping, this is definitely a gown with the glitz of old-time Hollywood about it. The absence of trims and details means it offers bold styling possibilities for sleek hair and glamorous accessories.
