Set at the heart of Port Lympne Reserve, Kent, the award-winning, four-star Port Lympne Hotel promises a unique wedding for those couples looking for something wildly different…
How far in advance will a couple need to start planning their wedding at Port Lympne?
Our Wedding Coordinators at Port Lympne recommend that if you have a specific date in mind, you should look to book at least six months in advance for your chosen venue. We offer a variety of packages that are not only designed to make planning your special day flawless, but some also include exclusivity of the elegant four-star hotel and gardens too.

Every wedding is unique and special to us, so there is no average wedding. We have several ideal venues on site, to suit all themes for your friends and family to enjoy eating, drinking and dancing after the ceremony, no matter what the weather holds in store. Some of our venues even overlook our wonderful animal paddocks, so you could get married with a black rhino in the background! For an unforgettable special touch, couples and their wedding guests can also enjoy a unique VIP safari to The African, Asian and South American experiences.
What facilities do you have on site which makes a wedding at Port Lympne enjoyable?
We offer a variety of stunning locations within the reserve to have your ceremony, including the historic hotel with the beautiful outdoor terraces or intimate Moorish Patio. Alternatively, hold your ceremony in the gorgeous gazebo and luxury marquee on lime tree avenue. For a wedding with a wild touch, hold your ceremony at our wonderful Treehouse hotel clubhouse, overlooking the rhino and cheetah paddocks, or say I Do with a view of the watering hole and Asian Experience at Hog Deer Creek, as sambar, barasingha and water buffalo wander by! With a variety of unique ways to stay, your wedding can become a longer event. Choose to have your first night at Tiger Lodge and wake up in a tiger’s world, or stay at Rhino Lodge or the brand new Wolf Lodge and make friends with your animal neighbours. For larger parties and guests, we also offer glamping at Bear Lodge, Pinewood and the height of luxury at the award-winning Treehouse Hotel. There’s so much to do at the Reserve, including a number of outdoor experiences, private ranger-guided safaris, animal encounters or even laser clay, or zorbing. For those extra special touches, we can provide Prosecco stations, festoon lighting, outside games, outside dining and more to suit your theme.
