Designed to ease the stress of planning your big day, Be Wedding Wise is a new online directory of personally vetted suppliers – from caterers to celebrants
[dropcap]F[/dropcap]inding wedding suppliers can be one of the most difficult parts of planning your wedding – especially as there is so much choice. A new website Be Wedding Wise aims to ease the process of finding companies that are trustworthy and deliver a good service.
Offering everything from venues and marriage celebrants to catering, marquee hire and favours, Be Wedding Wise is the brainchild of husband and wife team David and Lydia Cox.
Both David and Lydia have a background in the wedding industry and, while planning their own wedding in 2012, realised that while there was an abundance of suppliers it was difficult to make an informed choice without trusted reviews. The recently established website has been developed over the past 18 months and has a strict vetting policy.
With 20 key categories, all supplier listings have received at least two verified customer reviews, which are personally checked with a phone call by the team at Be Wedding Wise. Once suppliers have been approved and are listed as permanent members of the website, further reviews are spot checked on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and credibility.
The website also includes real wedding profiles to provide inspiration, and tips and advice on planning issues. And if you have experience of a particular supplier, you can also leave a review to help other couples. Reviews require an email address and contact phone number so that they can be verified as genuine, but your details won’t be published.
Be Wedding Wise aims to grow its community to 1,000 wedding suppliers across the UK in all categories by the end of 2017. Co-founder David Cox says: “With Be Wedding Wise, we hope to give couples absolute confidence in choosing their suppliers”.
