[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ondon bespoke design house The State of Grace joined forces with leading wedding photographer John Nassari and luxury wedding and events venue Wickham House to showcase glamorous and timeless looks for brides.
The State of Grace was founded in London by Lucia Silver and is focused around providing a highly individual look to capture each client’s individual style. The State of Grace’s approach to fashion is influenced by designs from the 1920s through to the 1940s – elements of the golden years of Hollywood and are most definitely in the mix with these glamorous and romantic wedding-gown designs.
The team at The State of Grace work on an entirely bespoke basis, sourcing materials and craftsmanship in-house and designing both garments and accessories to create a look to match the occasion. Every garment is made in close consultation with the wearer and involves a couture process – sketches, toiles and several fittings to bring together outfit, accessories and styling for the final look.
Wickham House is the perfect backdrop for glamorous gowns and is available for exclusive hire for weddings and events. A fine Georgian manor house with Victorian Gothic additions and a church in the grounds, it remains a family home. The beautiful gardens offer far-reaching views and there are a variety of spaces for weddings. These include a marquee site on pasture to the front of the house, the glorious walled gardens with pagoda and an architect-built barn with elegant chalet vibe.
There are fine reception rooms within the manor for drinks and photography; two guest rooms are also made available for bridal party preparation. Like State of Grace, Wickham House operates on a bespoke basis – working with wedding planners and preferred suppliers so that you can design an event that matches your vision for your wedding day.
