Caroline Castigliano is hosting a special by appointment sample sale at the Knightsbridge flagship. Taking place between 27th December and 5th January, it’s an opportunity to browse treasures from past collections, including one-off ‘prototype’ gowns that will be unique to the wearer.
The British designer has an international reputation for classic glamour with contemporary touches, and her fabulous bridal gowns offer superb tailoring, luxurious materials and refined details. All the gowns in her collections are designed and hand-made in Britain.
What to expect
At this event, you will find samples, prototypes and past-season collection gowns. Some gowns may have been tried on, while others have been worn on the runway at exclusive bridal events. You can expect prices ranging from £900 to £2,500. This represents a fantastic saving of up to 70 per cent on the original ticket – so the perfect opportunity to wear a dress by a leading British bridal label at a fraction of the original price.
There will only be one sample of each wedding gown so early bookings are advisable. All of the wedding dresses are in great condition and sizes range from 8 to 12. A private stylist and alterations specialist will be on hand to offer brides-to-be advice and assistance in finding their dream dress.
As with all sample-sale events, this is recommended for brides who have tried on a variety of wedding gowns and have a good idea of the type of dress they want. They should also be prepared to make a decision on the day if they find the dress of their dreams. Please note that each appointment is limited to bride-to-be plus a maximum of two guests.
