Caroline Castigliano is holding a by appointment sample sale at her Knightsbridge flagship – a golden opportunity for brides to be to pick up a chic sample, one-off prototype or timeless past-season gown at a dreamy price

A sample sale is always a great opportunity to bag a designer gown for less. And when the sample sale is at Caroline Castigliano’s Knightsbridge flagship, you can be sure you’ll see fabulous finds in the mix.

This late spring event takes place from Monday 22nd May-Saturday 27 May inclusive and is by appointment only. The team at the store are selling off ex samples, along with prototype dresses and past-season models. With prices ranging from £900 to £2,500 (a saving of up to 70 per cent on original price), these sale dresses are a steal.

Some of the gowns in the sale may have been worn at a designer catwalk show, while others have been used for window displays, but all are in great condition. There will be only one model of each of the gowns on sale, so early booking is recommended. Sizes range from UK 8 to 12, with an alterations package available to purchase on the day.

As with all sample sales, this event is designed for people who have a good idea of the kind of gown they would like for their wedding – typically, you will have tried on other dresses to shortlist the types of gown that work for your personal style and the occasion. This event is not recommended for people starting out on their journey to find a wedding dress (you are more than welcome to book an appointment to view Caroline Castigliano’s full collection). Do feel free to bring along a friend or family member whose opinion you value to this sale event, but please limit yourself to no more than two guests.
