Modista returns on Saturday 28th April, an inspirational shopping and lifestyle treat for Dubai residents and visitors with its focus on curated fashion, beauty and styling from established and emerging talent
Modista returns on Saturday 28th April, taking up residence at Dubai’s Roda Al Murooj hotel for a one-day inspirational shopping and pampering experience.
With a curated collective of fashion, beauty and styling ideas, the show seeks to capture the essence of spring. You will find lush florals, perfect pastels and bold jewel palettes in the mix. With a brief to showcase ‘fashion with a soul’, the show features established names alongside young emerging talent.
Star returning names include Arpita Mehta, Archana Rao, Padmasitaa by Padmini Kohlapure, Mahima Mahajan, Salita Nanda and Urvashi Joneja. The show debuts Pernia Qureishi’s namesake label Pernia Qureishi, a fresh and boho collection, alongside her opulent Umrao Mirza label.
Now in its 5th season, the show’s carefully curated collections are designed to ensure a heady and inspiring mix of styles, price points and trends. Co-founder of Modista Jyoti Karmali says: “Modista is not just an exhibition. For many of our regular shoppers, the brand has become a tradition.”

The show takes place on Saturday, April 28th from 10 am to 8pm at the Roda Al Murooj Hotel, Dubai. Entry is free and there is also free valet parking all day. For a spot of R&R after the shopping, guests can head to the Pamper Lounge, courtesy of Balance Spa and Spaces Hair salon to take advantage of free massages, make up and hair fixes. There will also be prizes of spa vouchers and beauty hampers for some visitors.
